Manual twist locks
Positive manual locking devices provide locking of containers on rail wagons. Manual twist locks are commonly designed as a stem with a rectangular upward pointed head called a shaft. After loading a container, you need to manually turn the twist lock shaft right or left for it to be locked.
A manually locking twist lock is labor intensive in comparison with a fully automatic type. The manual types are frequently used in securing second tier containers in double stack configuration.
We supply a comprehensive standard range of manual locking twist locks as well as specifically designed twist locks as required by our customer.
